


AMORE PSICHE
Amore Psiche began to sing when she was 17 years old with the Italian church choirs Coro Giovani S.Croce and Corale A.Gabrieli, inspired by her sister Nicoletta and by her mother Agnese to share her love for music. She took part in the musical “ABC Uno strano alfabeto” as a lead and choir singer and toured the North-East of Italy.
After moving to Barcelona for a short period, she performed live in various events with the Spanish choir Coral Mare de Deu del Coll.
In 2001 she began to write her own songs and she recorded a few of them. She performed her song 'L'alluvione' at the “Accademia di San Remo 2002”, a contest to enter the most important singing festival in Italy, broadcast by Radio 2. During this time, she also had classical singing lessons with the stunning maestro Paolo Badoer (winner of the Leone D'oro in Venice as a Bass Opera singer).
While working as an entertainment organiser in various hotels and resorts in Caorle (Venice), Djerba (Tunisia) and Lanzarote (Spain), she took part in different shows to entertain the tourists and sang many international songs.
In 2003 she moved to Caen (France) where she studied classical singing with the Soprano Lianna Harouthanian and sang with the gospel choir Violet Calix Bridge.
She also worked in “Disneyland Resort Paris” where she was able to take part in some great music events which contributed to enhance her inspiration.
She spent the following year in Norway: here she performed live folk music in
Harstad Theatre and in Steinkjer music school and she studied popular music and theatre at Soltun Folkehogskole in Evenskjer.
In 2006 she moved to Fuerteventura where she studied popular music for four years with the famous Cuban Soprano Lazara Maria Llado' Sanchez. In Canary Islands, she performed live as a soloist in various events and she was broadcast on the Spanish TV channel La Nueve.
In love with the sounds of fado, in 2012 she moved to Braga (Portugal), where she performed live with the music school Palco de Estrelas and with the international group ESN Jam Session Band.
In 2013 she decided to move to London, the city of musical freedom, where
she studied the Higher Diploma vocals at The Institute of Contemporary
Music Performance. During this time, she performed live with her rock
bands Katmandou and Unstable at “The Bedford” in Balham, she jammed with Chad Smith from RHCP and she met Stefano Oreto with whom she is currently writing songs and singing in their independent duo called The Big Boh. They have been performing their original songs at “The Paradise”in Kensal Rise, at “The Abbey Tavern” in Kentish Town, at “The Windmill Hotel” and “Elementree” in Cricklewood. They also looking forward to release their first album, after releasing their first EP 'Nevermind the (f*) Mainstream' in July 2015.
